Tigers, Raarrrr!

Alright, so I haven't blogged in a bit. A month! Things have been busy, but they have also been wonderfully laid back. It's always a good lazy day when I have to question whether I have eaten anything more substantial than a Diet Coke and Otter Pops. Or been so busy that I wonder if Eleanor has in fact eaten french fries at every meal. Lazy days and busy days are great, however neither one makes me terribly motivated to blog. Sorry, I need to catch up. So, fingers crossed, here goes.

Towards the end of July we went to a Detroit Tigers baseball game with some friends of ours, Laurie, Skylar and Kinsley. It was a beautiful clear day, but rather hot. Luckily our "cheap" seats were shaded throughout the game.

Here are Eleanor and Clayton walking to the ball-park.
Eleanor loved the excitement of going somewhere new.
Our good-looking friends.
Entering Comerica Park. It's a great ball-park, it has a merry-go-round and a ferris wheel to keep the kids happy.
Skylar picked up some awesome Tiger shirts that morning so the little girls could match. They were so freaking cute!
Eleanor was enjoying all the attention from the fans around us.
One day she might realize that people at games are there for the sport, not her.
Our group. Yes, the girls were wiggly.
E loves to "share" your drink with you.
Food is one of the best reasons to go to a game.
Laurie and I spent a good part of the game trying to keep the girls happy. It was incredibly hot out, so when we found this fountain that kids were swimming in we figured, "Why not?".
E and K loved it!
Aren't they cute in their matching Granderson shirts? Sadly, Granderson is now a Yankee. Boo.
They stayed in there til their fingers got wrinkly.
Eleanor and her faces, she cracks me up.
Warning: extra cute when wet.
We had a great time and stayed through the seventh inning stretch before we called it a day. Not bad with two 1 year olds. Now I can't even remember who the Tigers were playing that day. I will have to ask Clayton and edit this later. Soon to come, our trip to Cleveland/Kirtland and Grandma and Grandpa Howell's visit to Michigan!

Yes, it has been a while since you updated! We've missed you. I cannot believe how big lil E is now! She looks like such a little girl now, no more baby! I miss those awesome faces she pulls! Too cute!
